Ehdottomasti paikka, johon haluaisin palata joku päivä./We have now returned to Finland about 1,5weeks ago, but still there are a few stories left from China to tell. One is an amazing hotel resort in Zhangjiajie, near the national park's West entrance. I had seen this resort in CTRIP and Booking.com, about half a year ago and fell in love. To be honest, I was not disappointed, not at all. These pictures give very little justice to the amazing nature of this area - No 5. Valley Inn has begun 5 years ago as a family business of one house, but became so popular that now it can take up to a 100 guests. There are various villas, suites and rooms, all decorated with amazingly beautiful style: Just check out here... The staff (particularly 'Rain' and 'Jasmin') are very well spoken in English and very helpful in entertaining throughout the stay. They will pick you up from the airport/downtown Zhangjiajie for a fee if you call them, or from the National Park Gate. You can also buy 'home cooking' dinner if you like... This food is really delicious and largely grown on the resort area. The vista points over misty mountains of Zhangjiajie are also amazingly beautiful - even on a bad weather day like the one we were there for, there's plenty to see and experience just in the resort. This place seemed like a small paradise - I don't know if it has ever been so difficult to leave a hotel - you just simply wanted to stay for a week, a year... What's great about these areas is that tourism has not ruined them yet. The old ways of the village can be seen on the resort location. At night we spent some time with the local tourists and staff, singing karaoke and drinking in the Luna bar, by the pool. In the morning my WeChat was full of new friends. Often when travelling, I feel like I want to come to places that I feel connected with. For me, this was certainly one of those places to lock deep into the best memories of all times.
